Solar & Electrical Careers

Revolve Electrical is growing its solar and battery team in Northland. We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Electrician with solar capability, or a highly capable solar installer/technician who can work alongside our registered electricians.

We are open to full-time, contract or subcontract arrangements, including experienced people who may initially be available for selected install days or project-based work.

The work can include:

• Residential and commercial solar PV installation
• Battery, inverter and gateway installation
• Solar rail, modules, cable routes and rooftop work
• AC and DC electrical integration
• Switchboard upgrades and connection work
• Testing, commissioning and fault finding
• Working with systems including Sigenergy and Enphase
• Clear communication with customers and the wider Revolve team

For a registered electrician, we are looking for:

• NZ Electrical Registration and a current EWRB Practising Licence
• Solar and battery experience strongly preferred
• Strong electrical testing, commissioning and compliance knowledge
• Good workmanship, time management and communication
• Ability to work safely at heights and across varied Northland sites
• Full NZ driver licence preferred

Experienced solar installers / technicians:

• Strong practical experience installing solar panels, rails, cabling and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently alongside a registered electrician
• Safe rooftop work and high installation standards
• Contract or project-based availability welcome

Employment package:

For the right full-time registered electrician, the package can include:

• $42-$50 per hour depending on experience, solar capability and responsibility
• Higher package negotiable for exceptional solar or team-lead capability
• Company vehicle for work use
• Paid phone plan / phone allowance
• Annual tool allowance
• Uniform, PPE, boots and wet-weather gear
• Paid birthday day off
• Ongoing solar and battery training
• Support toward relevant solar qualifications and Mains Parallel endorsement development
• Clear progression into Lead Installer, Team Leader, Project Management or Estimating as the solar division grows
• Residential and commercial solar, battery, EV and energy projects across Northland

Contractors and subcontractors: We are also interested in experienced registered electricians and solar installers available for project work, selected install days or ongoing subcontract arrangements.
