Revolve Electrical designs with two principal solar architectures: Enphase AC microinverters and Sigenergy DC-coupled hybrid solar-and-battery systems. The right choice depends on the property and what you want the system to achieve.
Enphase can be particularly useful when the array spans several roof faces or where individual panels experience different conditions. The final design still depends on usable roof area, orientation, shading and electrical capacity.
Sigenergy is often considered where battery storage, backup and future expansion are central to the project from the start. Enphase can also support battery storage, but the architecture is different.
Backup depends on the complete system design, not the logo on the equipment. Battery capacity, gateway equipment, switchboard configuration and the circuits selected for backup all need to be considered.
Both platforms can support future changes in the right circumstances. The practical answer depends on roof space, network limits, switchboard capacity, product compatibility and whether future expansion means more solar, more battery storage, EV charging or additional household loads.
Our current solar-panel selection can include TCL Solar and Suntech, with the exact model chosen around system design, availability, dimensions, output and warranty requirements. Mounting hardware is selected for the roof type and site environment.
We do not treat one architecture as universally better. We model the property, review electricity use and future plans, then recommend the approach that best fits the site and project goals.
