Sigenergy is one of Revolve Electrical’s principal solar-and-battery platforms for Northland homes and businesses. We use it where a DC-coupled hybrid architecture suits the property, particularly when solar generation, battery storage, backup, monitoring and future expansion need to be designed together.
In a DC-coupled hybrid design, solar generation and battery storage are coordinated through a compatible hybrid inverter platform. This can reduce unnecessary energy conversions and provides one integrated approach to solar, storage and energy management.
Sigenergy’s SigenStor platform is designed around modular storage, so the system can be sized around the property’s actual energy use and future plans. The appropriate capacity depends on daytime generation, evening demand, backup requirements and budget.
Backup is not automatic simply because a battery is installed. Where outage support is required, we design the gateway, switchboard configuration and selected circuits so the proposed system has a clearly defined backup function.
A Sigenergy-based design can be considered alongside future EV charging, hot-water electrification and other large household loads. We look at the whole property rather than treating each electrical upgrade as a separate decision.
Compatible monitoring can show solar production, household consumption, battery behaviour and grid interaction. This helps customers understand when they are using their own solar, charging the battery or importing from the grid.
Grid-connected systems must meet the relevant network’s distributed-generation requirements. Revolve handles the design and connection process around the applicable Northpower or Top Energy requirements, including export settings and technical information required for the application.
No. Roof layout, shading, electricity use, budget, backup goals and future expansion all matter. For some properties an Enphase AC microinverter system may be the better fit. We compare the architectures rather than forcing every customer into one platform.
